Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate − US Province

 

The OMI's are a world-wide congregtion of priests and brothers dedicated to bringing the Good News to the poor and most abandoned. The Oblate Ecological Initiative is part of their ongoing effort to respond to the priority of Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation.

The OMI Justice and Peace/ Integrity of Creation Office coordinates the advocacy efforts in the United States of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate on behalf of the interests of the poor and most abandoned in the U.S. and the more than 65 countries where the Oblates are in mission.

Community Supported Garden at La Vista

 

A project of the Oblate Ecological Initiative, the Garden provides shareholders with 27 weeks of sustainably grown vegetables. The Earth, our farmer, and our shareholders participate together in a mutually enhancing relationship with one another and the soil that grows our food.

Lebh Shomea House of Prayer

 

Lebh Shomea House of Prayer is a Christian community of men and women under the auspices of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate located in Sarita, Texas. Guests are invited to participate in the contemplative-eremetical lifestyle during their retreat time.
