The Community Cultivators, a non-profit organization serving youth of the RiverBend Region, sponsors The Discovery Garden in Godfrey, Illinois.

The Discovery Garden teaches children, through organic means, about their natural source of food. This tangible learning experience promotes the children's connection with the soil and natural cycles of Earth. Fostering an appreciation of nature increases each child’s Earth Literacy. The Garden provides an alternative, creative outdoor activity, and encourages the holistic growth of our community's consciousness.

The Discovery Garden is located in La Vista Park at 2421 West Delmar Ave in Godfrey, Illinois. To get to the garden, take Route 3 west (past the Alton Mall) to West Delmar and turn right. Continue until you reach Vallhalla Cemetery (on right), and shortly after the cemetery is the entrance to La Vista Park on the left.

The Garden is free and open to all families, classes, and youth groups.
